''Coleophora triplicis'' is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in North America, including New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. This species has also been recorded on Prince Edward Island in a salt marsh ecosystem.〔Steeves, R., Nazari, V., Landry, J., and Lacroix, C. 2008. Predispersal seed predation by a coleophorid on the threatened Gulf of St. Lawrence aster. Canadian Entomologist. 140: 297-305.〕 In Prince Edward Island, it was observed as a predator of the predispersed seeds of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence Aster (''Symphyotrichum laurentianum'' Fernald).〔Steeves, R., Nazari, V., Landry, J., and Lacroix, C. 2008. Predispersal seed predation by a coleophorid on the threatened Gulf of St. Lawrence aster. Canadian Entomologist. 140: 297-305.〕 The larvae feed on the seeds of ''Solidago sempervirens''.
